Three of the West's desperados plan to steal the wages belonging to the miners of Silver Canyon. When bandits try to hustle in on the loot, they are chased away by a hail of raging gunfire that leaves Van Cleef mistaken as a "good-guy." He is appointed sheriff, with a badge to do as he pleases. Oops.
