Her team's the best. They just don't know it yet.
Ranger High School needs a men's basketball coach -- but a woman? That's right, and what a woman! Randy Tawlings (Cathy Lee Crosby), former Olympic medalist, is tall, blond, and beautiful. Her team, though, is a bunch of lanky kids who don't have a clue how to win. That could be a problem. You see, Randy's job hinges on delivering a perfect season. If her team loses even one game, she's out. Feisty, old Fenton Granger (Keenan Wynn) would like nothing better. He thinks women should stay home and have babies, not order men around. And it's only a matter of time until Fenton cooks up some devious plan. Randy, though, may help him without knowing it. Her star point gurad, Jack, is coming on to her, and she's got no intention of stopping him. If anyone finds out, or Jack gets jealous, it could be bye-bye, blondie.
