When the Odyssey Detective Agency is given the assignment to trail two wives suspected of being unfaithful, they put three of their best detectives on the job. At first it's all business, but soon the bumbling detectives succumb to the obvious charms of the two lovely ladies, and their investigation becomes a comical game of hide-and-seek.
With its star-studded cast, including Hollywood legend Audrey Hepburn (Breakfast at Tiffany's, My Fair lady), Ben Gazzara (Anatomy of a Murder), John Ritter (Three's Company) and, in what would prove to be her last film role, Dorothy Stratten (Galaxina), They All Laughed remains a bittersweet cult comedy classic and one of Peter Bogdanovich's most personal and truly delightful films.
