A Tasty Treat form the Writer of "The Naked Gun"
What happens when Psycho meets The Naked Gun? Director Anthony Perkins (Psycho III) and writer Pat Proft (The Naked Gun) match up Donna Dixon (The Couch Trip) and Joe Alaskey in this comic gable about dating, mating and meatloaf surprise. When the radiantly sensuous Cynthia Mitchell (Dixon) takes a shine to the overwrought, overweight Ron Douglas (Alaskey), he's sure that his luck with women has finally turned the corner. That is, until he follows Cynthia home, where he's pressed just a little too close to her eccentric family's bosom: There's Ma, who has an unusual way with menu planning; Pa, who's carved out their homestead on a toxic waste dump; brother Ike, who's diminished mental capabilities are offset by his skill with sharp instruments' and another brother Ike, who's firmly convinced he's a ghost. Now with that ordeal as an hor d'oeuvre, all Ron has to do is make it through dinner - without becoming the main course!
