Dimples (1936)
Although he's kind and lovable, "Professor" Eustace Appleby (Frank Morgan) is a pickpocket, and his talented granddaughter, Dimples (Shirley Temple), desperately wants him to go straight. But when Dimples meets a high society lady and her theatre loving nephew, she just might find success on the legitimate stage!
The Little Colonel (1935)
In the post-Civil War South, Elizabeth Lloyd (Evelyn Venable) marries a Yankee. In response, her stern Confederate father (Lionel Barrymore) vows to never speak to her again. That is, until a few years later when Elizabeth's adorable daughter (Shirley Temple) charms the grumpy old man!
The Littlest Rebel (1935)
Virgie Cary's (Shirley Temple) happy Southern plantation life is shattered when war breaks out and her dear dad (John Boles) must go fight, while her mother (Karen Morley) falls ill. But, nonetheless, the irrepressible Virgie manages to meet President Lincoln and tap-dance her way into the heart of old Uncle Billy (Bill "Bonjangles" Robinson)!
